This is very serious! Someone has spotted one of the most rare ninjas known to man, the Trose Ninja. They are said to be very drunk and unpredictable. The best defense is the t1 handshake, if you dont know it then i guess your out of luck and your best bet is to run. Although they are lightning fast so that probably wont help! H.

So as we all know Infamous and Aftermath have collided and joined forces. Unfortunately earlier this week we received some bad news and that was that Alex “Mouse” Goldman and Steven Pitts would be returning back to aftermath to play Semi – Pro. This was a huge let down because not only are they two of my really good friends that i consider family but most of all they are phenomenal paintball players. Both will be missed but I wish them luck and success with Mike Hinman and the rest of Aftermath.

So anyway on to our first practice. We spent the weekend focusing on learning the field and figuring out what was necessary to win on the phoenix layout, our win loss count did not matter to us although we ended out with pretty decent results considering it was our first weekend together. Dynasty and Dynasty Entourage were out there so we al just rotated sets getting in as many games in as possible. I must say im very confident with the direction the team is going and cant wait to play with everyone again. We definitely have a good group of guys that mix well together which should result in a few victories this year.

Our roster as of now

Rusty Glaze

Jon Richardson

Todd Martinez

Travis Lemanski

Alex Savino

Marcello Margott

Nicky Cuba

Bobby Avilez

Zack Wake

n1123087421_30090617_3364 Kyle Spicka

Kyle Spicka in my opinion is on his way to the top. I have known this kid for the past 4 years and I have seen nothing but improvement. If he keeps up his hard work, dedication, and a level head, he could very well become one of the best players in the world. With his size, speed and athleticism, Sky’s the limit for young spicka. Kyle and I have become very good friends over the past year and I definitely admire his drive, heart and motivation on and off the paintball field. I thought I would give you all a chance to learn a little more about him so here it is.

Name: Kyle Spicka

Age: 19

Hometown: Wilmington North Carolina

Previous teams: Gridlock, Palm Beach Vipers, Aftermath 2

Favorite team growing up: Growing up i really loved Baltimore Trauma. Everyone on that team was super cool. I remember the first time meeting Hamen Chapman from trauma at a cfoa and he let we me use his dm6 to play a match with. When i got on gridlock it was some of the best times ive had in paintball, with the program and getting to play under my favorite team as well. Wck

Other activites: I made an attempt to play laccrosse in middle school..that didnt work out to well haha. In high school i played soccer and i wrestled for a few years. Eventually paintball started to consume most of my time so I choose to commit fully to paintball.

What made you move to cali?:  After Mouse and Marcello were able to talk Mike Hinman into letting come tryout, I had to start making a decision about moving out. After getting on the team and some motivational speaking from Marcello i decided to take a risk and hit the road. Im still glad I did it too, becuase everyday out here is better than the one before. I mean really.. who doesn’t want to live in California?

How do you like the San Diego Aftermath program and why?:  I love this program, the skill level everyone has is nuts! Im playing with kids that have been playing half as long as me and are just as good. Mike Hinman is an insanely smart man and can mold kids into Spartans. Mike is an incredible coach, and ive learned so much from him in what little time ive been out here. Plus we usually play both days almost every weekend with good teams, and everyone always comes to grind.

Goals this season?: Ive been thinking about this one for the whole off season. It really sucks that aftermath 2 wasn’t able to finish a perfect season last year, and I plan on making that happen this year. If it was that close before it can definitely be done again. Playing every match 100 percent, hands down I think we can achieve it.

What should people expect to see from Kyle Spicka in 2010?:  People should expect to see myself and all of Aftermath coming for blood this season. Anyone that stands across from us better pack a lunch cause its gunna be a long year. Im coming out hungrier than ever this season. O yea and I forgot, always expect me in your snake haha! Who Wants IT!

PHOENIX 10′ LAYOUT

Phoenix 2010

Its finally here ladies and gentlemen! let me know what you think about the layout, personally I am stoked on it. It reminds me of an older traditional paintball field.

With our powers combined!

Im sure most of you have heard rumors about Aftermath joining forces with Infamous for the 2010 season. Well this is 100% true and I must say I couldn’t be more exited. I feel this is exactly what our team needed, a little more structure and wisdom to help keep us young kids in check. I felt that one of our teams biggest problems in the 2009 season was lack of experience and composure. I feel this should help balance us out well. Our team before had a bunch of raw talented kids that have one mind set and thats to go get some, we call it Aftermath paintball. It is the aggressive, fast paced, california style ball that is hard for many teams to handle but what we lacked, was the ability to slow the game down and take control. Most of our points were either won quick or lost fast. Mixed with the experienced veteran players of Infamous I do believe we will be a strong force this season and I must say im more exited for 2010 than I have been for any other year.  I look forward to learning from these guys and doing whatever I can to help take the team to the top!

The New Year

2010

Hey everybody, first and foremost I would like to say I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year. I am sorry for the delay in updates lately, it has been a hectic and crazy holiday season. With 2009 at an end I think it is safe to say that most of us are looking forward to 2010, I know I am.

So let’s get you all caught up on what I have been doing. Right before leaving for vacation I resigned with my old acting / modeling agency, BARON ENTERTAINMENT. This is very exiting news for me and I look forward to pursuing that as well as paintball in 2010. If everything goes well this could be a very successful year for me and I must say I am quite exited to get back on the grind. Now to the fun stuff.

Christmas this year was kind of ordinary. My uncle just passed away a few weeks before so the family just was not into it as much as usual. Either way christmas had to go on so we decided we would just keep it small and get ready for our vacation which we would be leaving for on Christmas night. After a long travel day we finally made it to the ship where we would board the Crown Princess and let it sail us through the Caribbean.

Im not sure if any of you have ever been on a cruise but it is the most relaxing type of vacation. Once you board you know that you have no responsibilities or worries for the next 10 days or however long your trip may be. We unpacked and got into cruise mode. The next day we had a Sea Day, these are always fun because everyone just parties on the upper deck and has a great time so that was exactly what we did. Our family booked a few tours on some of the islands we stopped at and i must say that my favorite by far was the stingray excursion. We took a catamaran boat a few miles out into the ocean where I would soon kiss a stingray. I guess rumor has it if you kiss a stingray it will bring you 7 years of good luck so I hopped in the water and went for it!

Good Luck!!

After days of fun it was time for New Years. I was definitely exited for 2010 and ready to move on from 2009. I started the night of right with a bottle of Dom Perignon and enjoyed a great dinner with the family. Once dinner was over we went up to the Skywalker Night Club where I found all my new friends from the ship. Everyone was having the time of their lives and I must say it was the perfect way to start out the New Year.  I look forward to this coming year and hope that everything goes as planned. Stay tuned in as I will be updating much more now that I am home and back on schedule. Look for big things this year and I hope to see all of you at events throughout the year!

Here are some pictures from the trip!

MRSA Infection sucks.

My knee

IMG_0273

MRSA is a deadly infection going around right now and I somehow found myself right in the middle of it. I had scraped my knee from wrestling and thought nothing of it. Unfortunately, two days later I woke up and my knee was swollen to the size of a baseball. I thought it was very weird that there was no bruising and it didn’t swell up until days later. Not thinking much of it I went on with my day as I normally would. When I woke up the next morning the swelling was going down my leg about 6 inches, this is when I knew it was not bruising and could only be one thing, an infection. Not only was half my leg swollen and red but it felt like someone was over filling my leg with water and it was about to pop.. very painful. So I decided to go to the urgent care.

After a long wait at the doctors office I finally got called in. The doctor was supprised i did not come in sooner and told me we would have to attack this very aggressively. He gave me two GIANT shots in each side of my butt cheeks, put me on antibiotics and told me if it doesnt go down by the next day then go back and see him. I woke up after a rough night of sleep and noticed my leg was still the same. I decided to give the antibiotics some time and wait. Later that night was when it got bad, the swelling had reached my ankle! The whole time im thinking they’re going to have to cut my leg off or something drastic. I went to the Emergency room and had a different doctor tell me i had MRSA and gave me different antibiotics, so far they have been working great and I think im going to get to keep my leg!

So after a rough weekend in and out of the doctor’s, and being bored laying in bed, the infection is almost gone. Hopefully it stays down and I can get back to training for 2010. Back to work.
